12 Statements from 2024

As the year comes to end, I can not help but think about how this year impacted my life. 2024 is arguably my most productive year as a student. there was a lot of first this year.

• I pushed my first Nextjs app
• I flew to Europe for the first time
• I deployed my first AI wrapped app
• I got my first users, people I don't even know
• I won my first Hackathon at Columbia University
• I had my first founder meeting with pretty important people that took my ideas seriously
• I worked with my favorite people
• I helped get more than $500K in scholarships for kids in Niger
• ...

And the list goes on. I had incredible experiences in Paris and New York and met awesome people. from all that there are few sentences, lessons if you will that would capture my take aways from my best year yet.

1. Every time you think of someone, call them chances are they miss you too
2. it does not take much to make someone else's day.
3. Give a genuine compliment, life is already hard enough. Be the reason someone else smiles
4. Get the F*ck off Localhost ( from Yasin Headstarer )
5. Tell your loved one you love them
6. If you want to make things special write a letter to a long distance friend, hand written is even better.
7. Do a marathon, you will be a changed man person
8. Take more photos you will never regret it
9. Try that restaurant you had in mind, and take 3 friends
10. You see that person that looks mean all the time, talk to them, they are often the funniest people you will meet
11. watch more comedy man, any type
12. start writing.
